Testimonials

I have nothing but positive things to say. They showed up in time, made sure I was happy with the placement of my pieces, and were able to hang everything on a brick wall with ease. I even had a piece that was a little complicated and they ended up coming back to hang that with the proper tools. My stuff looks amazing! They also charged me their quoted price, which a really appreciated. I would hire Artists Eye again in a heartbeat if I ever need anything else hung.

Thank you so much Keisha and Eric! You all met all my expectations! Soon as they arrived their professional manners just put me at ease.

They knew exactly how I wanted my art work position and did it in good timing and no mess left behind!

Will definitely use them again!

Wes and Eric were extremely professional from start to finish. From our email interactions, I knew that they were people who would be precise and careful about the installation. We could not be happier with the outcome.

I am extremely pleased with the professional job that was provided in hanging artwork throughout my home. I definitely will re-use this firm for all similar needs, as I continue to decorate my home.

It doesn't have to be us but...

We always say the old adage, "You get what you pay for" comes into play. Hire someone that is not just going to hang the art, but design the viewing experience.  There are subtle decisions that add up to the finished veneer often desired that clients find to be seemingly elusive when hanging art themselves. With that in mind, you want someone who takes that into consideration and has a "light touch" in their process (i.e. not marking your walls heavily, or putting big holes for anchors where a hook and nail will more than suffice). Art is not permanent and should be rotated to revive the space, the art, and the owner's experiencing of it.

Behind the scenes...

About the founder & Company

The company was founded by artist Wesley Clark in May of 2007. He worked for 2 years as an Installer/Art Handler for a retail gallery in Bethesda, MD where he learned and honed his skills. An avid entrepreneur, Clark saw a niche to be filled that would allow him to be in his studio producing art when not with clients. He has worked side by side with art consultants and interior designers choosing and laying out artwork for residential and corporate spaces. This background has provided a holistic approach to recruiting and training installers. Prior to participating in a project, our installers are able to properly handle the artwork, define the right look when pairing the piece with the space, and the integral role of math in the designs.

Clark holds both a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts, and has been showing professionally since 2003. His artworks can be found in the permanent collections of the Asheville Art Museum, Studio Museum of Harlem, and Kaiser Permanente to name a few. Clark also produces public artworks that can be found throughout DC metropolitan area. In 2021 Clark was one of three artists commissioned in honor of The Phillip’s Collection’s centennial celebrations. He currently works out of a studio in College Park, MD
